The Sumter Baptist Temple was started in June of 1975, as a result of the burden God gave Pastor Eddie Richardson, for his hometown of Sumter, South Carolina. Pastor Richardson has been the only pastor to date. He and his wife Betty have been faithfully serving the Lord with gladness and sharing the true love for the church and the people of Sumter. He is faithfully preaching the Book- The KJV Bible, The Blood-as the only was to have your sins washed away, and The Blessed Hope-that Christ will return and take His bride away.
